Reeezer

Hi 👋 I'm Léon, a passionate machine learning student and researcher.

I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). My background blends software engineering and machine learning research, and I hold a double Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Imaging from the HES-SO Arc Ingénierie and the UTBM.

Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience through diverse projects in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. I enjoy building robust, research-backed solutions to real-world problems ranging from research on 3D MRI scans foundation model for spinal cord reconstruction, to designing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems that explore modern search techniques, and creating an AI Tutor to support students with STEM exam preparation. My journey began with a strong background in software and full-stack development, which now complements my passion for deep learning, vision/language models, and research machine learning systems.

Outside of ML, I love competitive team games, creating indie games (check out my itch.io), and diving into side projects.
